The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective’s weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office.

Once again returning to the idyllic rooftop of the 1 Hotel in South Beach with Smirnoff, Mixmag promised the city a demanding line-up of surprise headliners during electronic music’s biggest week, Miami Music Week – and fans were not disappointed. Throughout the day, rooftop partygoers were treated to sets from the likes of South Korean newcomer Peggy Gou, New York’s Martinez Brothers and the Drake-approved and Mixmag favorite, Black Coffee.

Memorable sets from all three kept the rooftop vibes going from afternoon until evening, transitioning from melodic and disco-tinged Gou choices to the South African power of Black Coffee.

Stay tuned for full sets coming from The Lab Miami soon.

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together.
