Councilwoman Mary Estimé-Irvin Appointed to the Board of Directors for the 2021-2022 Miami-Dade County League of Cities

North Miami, FL – May 20, 2021

On Thursday, May 13, 2021, City of North Miami Councilwoman Mary Estimé-Irvin was sworn-in by State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle to the Board of Directors for the 2021-2022 Miami-Dade County League of Cities. 

The Miami-Dade County League of Cities (MDCLC) was founded in 1953 and it is considered the largest local League in the state of Florida. The organization aims to unite and to strengthen the collaborative efforts amongst Miami-Dade County’s 34 different municipalities and its goal is to protect the interests of local cities, towns, and villages. This year marks the 67th annual installation of the diverse group representing communities across South Florida. Councilwoman Estimé-Irvin will serve on the Transportation Planning Organization (T.P.O) Committee to work on creating new initiatives for the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Development Committee.
