Report derelict vessels and help protect the bay

RER’s Division of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) works with partner agencies to carry out the at-risk and derelict vessel removal program that netted dozens of vessels in County waters last year. However, new ones frequently appear, and we count on the public’s help in reporting these vessels when they see them in our waterways.

Derelict vessels aren’t just unsightly; they’re a danger to boaters and pollute our water while damaging Biscayne Bay’s fragile ecosystem.

If you see one of these vessels, report it online or by calling the environmental complaint line at 305-372-6955.
