NEW INFORMATION:  300 Block of Clematis Street 60-Day Road Closure

West Palm Beach, FL — The City of West Palm Beach has reviewed and approved a right of way permit for a temporary closure of the 300 block of Clematis to facilitate a construction project. It is a best practice and customary procedure to temporarily close a street and/or sidewalk for construction, when crane operations or other obstructions are required.

The partial road closure is needed to install cranes at the 300 block. The road will be closed to vehicular traffic, but open to pedestrian traffic during the construction period which is expected to be approximately 60 days starting on either June 26 or July 5. The road closure is occurring in the Summer to minimize disruption during the peak season and the City has mandated that the roadway be open in time for the Green Market starting in October.
