MIAMI REALTORS® Sharing Reciprocal MLS Access With 265,000+ Realtors Nationwide

MIAMI — The MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) has launched its fourth data-sharing partnership — this time with REcolorado, the largest multiple listing service in Colorado. The new IntraMatrix reciprocal partnerships, which allow Realtors in one MLS system to search and view listings of another MLS, are introducing new referral opportunities and additional listing exposure for South Florida properties.

In addition to REcolorado, MIAMI is sharing its SEFMLS property listings with the California Regional Multiple Listing Service (CRMLS), the nation’s largest MLS; Omni MLS, Mexico’s largest MLS; and FMLS in Georgia. The four partnerships mean MIAMI REALTORS® is now sharing reciprocal MLS access with 265,000+ REALTORS® nationwide.

“MIAMI real estate listings now have even more exposure with these landmark partnerships in key markets,” MIAMI CEO Teresa King Kinney said. “California, Mexico, Georgia and Colorado are some of the top feeder markets for South Florida real estate and now MIAMI REALTORS® can expand their listing exposure in those markets and build exciting new referral opportunities.”

MIAMI is planning more partnership deals to further expand exposure for South Florida real estate listings nationwide and across the globe.

“Home buyers and sellers rely on the expertise and guidance of real estate agents, especially when making a long-distance move,” REcolorado President and CEO Gene Millman said. “We are forming data-sharing partnerships to give brokers and agents the information they need to help their clients find available homes, learn about communities, and connect with local experts in communities outside of Colorado.”

The Power of MIAMI’s SEFMLS

IntraMatrix allows Realtors to search and view listings in another MLS at no cost to either association. Realtors viewing listings in a different MLS are not allowed to add or edit listings in that respective MLS. The add/edit functionality is disabled.

The databases continue to be owned and operated by each individual MLS. There is no offer of compensation extending from the listing subscribers of SEFMLS to FMLS, CRMLS, REcolorado or Omni MLS.

CRMLS (headquartered in San Dimas, CA) serves more than 110,000 real estate professionals from 41 associations, boards and MLS associations. Omni MLS (headquartered in Mexico City) serves more than 4,000 real estate professionals in Mexico with 16,000 exclusive listings. Omni MLS is planning to expand to Costa Rica, Colombia and Brazil.

FMLS has a collective membership of 125,000 and represents 24 counties surrounding Atlanta and FMLS members have listings in almost all of Georgia’s 159 counties plus listings from members in Alabama, Tennessee and North and South Carolina.

REcolorado (headquarted in Greenwood Village, CO) is the nation’s 16th largest MLS, serving over 26,000 real estate professionals who work throughout Colorado and belong to Realtor associations including shareholders, Denver Metro Association of Realtors and South Metro Denver Realtor Association. 76% of Colorado real estate transactions are facilitated by REcolorado.
