NORTH MIAMI, FL (July 28, 2025)
The City of North Miami is gearing up for its 2025 Back-to-School Block Party, scheduled to take place Monday, August 11th, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the North Miami Public Library, located at 835 NE 132nd Street, North Miami, FL 33161. This annual celebration offers families essential back-to-school support, including free backpacks, food, entertainment, educational resources, and more, while supplies last.
North Miami residents will be given priority during the event. Proof of residency, such as a valid government issued ID, is required, and children must be present to receive a free backpack. Community members are invited to contribute new backpacks, notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, rulers, calculators, and other school essentials. Monetary donations, including cash or checks made payable to the City of North Miami, are also welcome. Backpack and School Supply Donation Drive | North Miami, FL
Donations may be dropped off at the North Miami Public Library during the following hours: Monday: 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesday –Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday – Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Residents can register to attend the Back-to-School Block Party.
