Some consider this beach the best one in Puerto Rico. Playa Flamenco is on a tiny island off the northeastern side of the main island called Culebra. You can only get to it by a 50-minute ferry ride or 15-minute plane ride into Ceiba. You can also fly from San Juan and that only takes about 25 minutes. On this trip, we chose to fly since I got seasick on the ferry.
There are no big brand hotels or anything on the island. You have to do a Google search for places to stay. Some are listed on Airbnb but not all. You can rent a golf cart or Jeep from Carlos Jeep rental. There is also Jerry’s Jeep Rental located next door to Carlos It’s a great way to explore the island. We chose to rent from them both times we went there. Just make sure you reserve one if you plan on going during a busy time of year. It’s a nice way to get around the island. We chose the Jeep since it has AC and protects us in case it rains. I will leave links below.
