The Golden Ticket arts guide provides free access to the arts for seniors who are residents of Miami-Dade County. The guide features freecultural offerings for Miami-Dade County senior residents, from ages 62 years and older. The print guide will be available in January 2022.
Complete the form to join the mailing list or call 305-499-8755 to request the guide. Golden Ticket guides will also be available for pick-up at local Miami-Dade Public Library System branches and Miami-Dade County Commission district offices. It is advised to contact your local library to check on the availability of the guide.
To use the guide, you’ll want to begin by reviewing the guide to find events or cultural venues that you would like to visit. Seniors are required to call the corresponding organization to make a reservation as the Golden Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Golden Tickets will be available two weeks before an event.
On the day of the event you must either print one of the self-print tickets or clip a Golden Ticket coupon from the guide and complete the back with the appropriate information.
At the venue entrance you must present the following:
- One Golden Ticket coupon per eligible person
- Photo ID showing proof of age (62 years or older) and Miami-Dade County residency
Senior centers or large groups that wish to attend a Golden Ticket event or venue must contact the participating organization in advance to make special group visit arrangements.
