The Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust Homeownership Assistance Program (HAP) is designed to increase the number of first-time home purchases for low-to-moderate income residents living in Miami-Dade County. The zero-interest deferred loan provides funding for first-time homebuyers towards down payment and closing costs, making it easier to get approved for a mortgage. Since 1995, the HAP program has funded more than 7,900 families.
In an effort to increase Black homeowners in Miami-Dade County, Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust’s Housing Division created a virtual information session to inform the real estate community about the agency’s latest developments and its new “HAP Participant” opportunity. This interactive and engaging experience will occur via Zoom and is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 10:30 a.m. This event is ideal for real estate agents, mortgage lenders and title companies.
