Kids can stay active at an after school program

Kids can be active all year long with Miami Dade Parks’ Fit2Play program. The program runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays starting Aug. 17 through June 7, 2023 at several park locations. The programs also run through vacation breaks. There is no deadline to register but due to safety guidelines programs will have a limited capacity. Registration must be done on site.

Fit2Play program (ages 6-14)

Fit2Play is a nationally-acclaimed program that incorporates exercise, nutrition and health education into fun and engaging group activities like obstacle courses and nutrition relay races.

An additional $11 weekly transportation fee will apply if your child is being picked up from an authorized school.

There is a $15 non-refundable registration fee for all sites including TCT locations. A fee reduction is available for eligible applicants. Pick up a fee reduction application from your local park.

Registration is online in Park Link for all general afterschool sites. You must register onsite for all registered The Children’s Trust locations.
