The Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust (MDEAT) proudly announces the launch of the first-ever MDEAT Activist Awards, a celebration of impact, service and community leadership. This groundbreaking initiative will recognize outstanding nonprofit organizations that are driving meaningful change across Miami-Dade County.
Through a community-driven campaign, residents will help spotlight organizations that align with MDEAT’s mission to advance economic development, housing and youth services.
Community members were encouraged to nominate their favorite activist or nonprofit organization from Nov. 18 – 24.
Voting is currently open for residents to select their favorite organization. The winners will be announced at the MDEAT Activist Awards on Dec. 3.
