The Miami Emerging Arts Leaders is an initiative of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs to identify and cultivate the next generation of arts leaders in our community. Modeled after a successful emerging leader program by Americans for the Arts, the nation’s leading nonprofit organization for advancing the arts in America, the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders provides networking and resource sharing opportunities to encourage diverse, young/new arts administrators to explore professional development issues and opportunities. Find out about upcoming events by subscribing to the email newsletter: www.miamidadearts.org.

The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and its volunteer advisory board, the Cultural Affairs Council, develop cultural excellence, diversity and participation throughout Miami-Dade County by strategically creating and promoting opportunities for our community’s thousands of artists and not-for-profit cultural organizations, and our residents and visitors who are their audiences.
