Miami Realtors Partners with Lundy to Make MIAMI Listings Alexa Search by Voice Accessible

MIAMI — The MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) has partnered with Lundy to make all MIAMI property listings search by voice accessible on all of Amazon’s Alexa products, enhancing data accessibility for all South Florida consumers, homebuyers, and sellers.

“It is especially important that blind and visually impaired individuals can now be immersed in the South Florida home buying experience,” MIAMI REALTORS® CEO Teresa King Kinney said.

Lundy is Now Alexa’s Default Property Search

Lundy has been approved by Amazon as the default property search for Alexa, Amazon’s cloud-based voice service available on more than 100 million devices from Amazon and third-party device manufacturers.

Consumers can start their Miami home search by asking their Alexa product: “Alexa, are there any homes for sale near me?” or “Alexa, help me buy a home” or “Alexa, find me a house.”

Lundy and its Finding Homes Alexa voice skill app is designed to accommodate those who can’t search for homes using traditional methods. While other Alexa skills are agent centric, Lundy was developed for the user in mind.

Its goal is to help homebuyers find the best possible property. Lundy is powered by natural language processing to respond to users about a property’s roof type, square footage, etc.

Lundy takes key data on residential listings and delivers listing information in small but informative sentences. On top of that, users can search by property address or set a search by asking Alexa about property characteristics like price range or number of bedrooms.

“Celebrating the MIAMI Association of Realtors as an industry thought leader, we’re thrilled to partner with them,” said Justin Lundy, Co-Founder and CEO of Lundy, Inc. said. “Our mission is to use voice tech and AI to enhance lives in Miami and beyond.”

Lundy is benchmarked with the National Federation of the Blind and worked with the NFB to create an agent training program and agent certification. It also arranged focus groups with NFB to discuss the current state of homebuying when visually impaired.
