The Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department, in collaboration with the Miami Dolphins Junior Dolphins program, will once again host their annual NFL Flag Football League in Spring of 2024. Participating youth which will engage in four fields of skills, drills, and games. As part of this initiative, flag football leagues and its participants will receive reversible jerseys, flags, and footballs, as well as trophies and medals provided by Junior Dolphins.

In 2023, a total of 26 teams, representing 19 Miami-Dade Parks, signed up to play flag football as part of the Parks Department’s Sports Development Program. The children participating in the NFL Spring Flag Football League in 2023 were a part of Miami-Dade Parks’ Fit2Play, a sports development after school programs at a Miami-Dade community or neighborhood park that provides accessible and inclusive sporting experiences for kids who might not otherwise have an opportunity to play sports.

This year Miami-Dade Parks is offering this opportunity to any youth interested in participating.
