Sign your child up for Girls Got Game

Miami-Dade Parks will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day by hosting “Girls Got Game” event at Tropical Park on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The goal of this free event is to introduce girls, ages 6-17, to various sports, while providing instruction, the benefits of sports, and encouragement to continue engaging in/playing sports in the future.

In the sport rotations, the girls will engage in various sports such as:

  • Basketball
  • Boxing
  • Flag Football
  • Soccer
  • Track
  • Volleyball

This event will be facilitated through the Parks Department, in partnership with the Miami Heat, Miami Marlins, the Miami Dolphins, and Miami-Dade College.
