WASD continues to recognize exceptional customer service

At the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD), our ability to deliver safe, reliable water and wastewater services depends on the dedication and professionalism of our employees. Every day, WASD staff demonstrate a strong commitment to serving our customers, supporting one another, and upholding the public’s trust.

That commitment is at the heart of the Pebble Employee Recognition Program, a department-wide initiative that highlights employees who go above and beyond in delivering exceptional customer service and advancing operational excellence. The Pebble Program reflects WASD’s ongoing focus on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement—values that guide how we serve our community. The Pebble Program also supports WASD’s focus on building a Vibrant Organizational Culture and delivering an Exceptional Customer Experience.

Each quarter, WASD recognizes these outstanding employees during the Pebble Program Employee Recognition Ceremony. On Tuesday, Feb. 24, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and WASD Director Jay J. Fink proudly honored the following employees for their contributions and dedicated service:
