Join the Miami-Dade Internal Services Department – Americans with Disabilities Act office for a disability resource fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Miami-Dade Westchester Regional Library, 9445 Coral Way, Miami, FL 33165.
Featuring a sensory play area and over 45 organizations in the areas of:
- Employment & Training
- Recreation & Culture
- Housing & Transportation
- Support groups & Advocacy
- Safety
- Services for children and the elderly
Featured Presenters:
- 10 a.m. – Advocacy Network on Disabilities
- 11 a.m. – Parent to Parent of Miami
- Noon – ABLE United (Health and Wellness Center)
- 1 p.m. – The Office of Emergency Management (Health and Wellness Center
Educational sessions on community resources, transition planning, financial planning and emergency preparedness will be offered.
