Celebrate National Consumer Protection Week

The Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources, Consumer Protection Division, will celebrate National Consumer Protection Week with a series of free community events. Join one and learn about consumer rights and the many related services available to Miami-Dade County residents. 

In addition to getting an overview of services offered by the Consumer Protection Division, participants will be able to discuss their own consumer concerns and submit complaints to staff for further investigation. Staff from the Community Action and Human Services Department, Homeowner and Small Business Permitting Assistance Program, Code Compliance Division and Contractor Enforcement Section will also be present to provide information about their services, answer questions and accept complaints.

    Discussion of landlord/tenant issues, rent increases and services available to county residents.

  • Wednesday, March 8, 5:30 – 7 p.m.
    North Dade Regional Library

    Learn all about Small Claims Court from Consumer Advocate Holly Beth Billington.
