Celebrate Park & Recreation Month with exciting 4th of July Festivities

July is Park and Recreation Month! This year Miami-Dade County Parks Recreation & Open Spaces is highlighting the vital role park and recreation professionals play in bringing people together, providing essential services and fostering the growth of our communities. Park and recreation professionals make a positive impact on their community members every single day. Let’s come together this year and show the world just how much parks and recreation mean to Miami-Dade County.

Join Miami-Dade Parks as they kick off Parks & Recreation Month with a spectacular 4th of July celebration at Tropical Park. Gather with family and friends to enjoy a beautiful day at the park, or stop by the park central area to enjoy live music, food trucks, bounce houses and other activities and giveaways throughout the day. Make sure to stick around for a spectacular fireworks show at 8:45 p.m.

Arrive early as parking will be limited. Please note the SW 56 Street entrance will be closed throughout the day. Traffic will be routed to the SW 40 Street.
