Celebrate the 39th Annual International Coastal Cleanup Day at a Miami-Dade Park

Join Miami-Dade Parks on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, for the world’s largest, one-day volunteer event committed to reducing marine debris along our oceans and waterways.

Spearheaded globally by the Ocean Conservancy, International Coastal Cleanup® Day (ICC) engages people to remove trash from local beaches, streams, parks, or neighborhoods worldwide.

Since its beginning, more than 17 million volunteers have collected over 350 million pounds of trash. Thanks to these volunteers around the world, the ICC has become a beacon of hope, leading and inspiring action in support of our ocean.

This year, alongside millions of volunteers, Miami-Dade County will take part locally with more than 50 shoreline cleanups around the county. Register now by finding a participating Miami-Dade Park near you.

Community volunteers are essential to the success of these cleanup efforts. Be part of the solution to coastal pollution by pitching in for a Miami-Dade Parks coastal cleanup.
