City Commission Meeting, Monday, November 28, Approvals and Decisions

West Palm Beach City Commission Meeting Approvals and Decisions

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (11-29-2022) – Below is a summary of the approvals and decisions made by the City Commission meeting on Monday, November 28, 2022.

CITY ATTORNEY – Approved a resolution for a conditional settlement with Eva Roffe, Maor Roffe and Warm Sunshine Holdings, LLC, to acquire the property at 1019 N. Rosemary Avenue, and transfer the property to the City of West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency.  

DEVELOPMENT SERVICES – Continued a resolution establishing interim standards for increasing the supply of affordable housing; approved an ordinance after a first public hearing to amend the Downtown Master Plan Urban Regulations to change the parking and loading regulations in the Brelsford Park District and Northwest Neighborhood District; approved an ordinance after a second reading to designate a portion of the A. W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts on the Palm Beach Register of Historic Places; approved a resolution to allow the installation of two (2) boat lifts on an existing dock at 3400 North Flagler Drive; approved a resolution to replat property at 6910 South Dixie Highway as Palm Beach Medical Property; approved a resolution after public hearing creating a minor subdivision plat called Flagler Station replat.   

ENGINEEERING – Approved a resolution abandoning two (2) 15-foot utility easements located at 750 27th Street; approved a resolution abandoning a three (3)-foot utility easement located at 909 Upland Road.

FINANCE – Approved a resolution amending the General Fund budget to reflect estimated revenues and expenses in the budget for the year ending September 30, 2022.
