Consumer Protection offices relocating to the Permitting & Inspection Center

Effective Aug. 1, the Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources Code Compliance and Consumer Protection Divisions have merged to create the new Consumer and Neighborhood Protection Division. This merge means residents can now access streamlined services conveniently located under one roof at the Permitting and Inspection Center, located at 11805 SW 26th Street, Miami, 33175. This is the same location where code compliance services are located.

Many of the services provided by our consumer team may be accessed online or in person, including license renewals, wage theft complaints and the Community Association Registry.

This move will enhance efficiency and improve service delivery to residents and businesses. Additionally, the location is centrally located off the Florida Turnpike and a short drive from the Palmetto Expressway, with ample free parking for your comfort.

For matters related to code compliance, including building and neighborhood compliance, continue to visit the Permitting and Inspection Center.
