Supervisor of Elections Christina White and local artist Xavier Cortada unveiled his beautiful flag artwork titled “American Fabric | Weaving Democracy.” It now proudly hangs at Elections Headquarters. This interpretative American Flag includes each of the 380,000 unique last names that make up the registered voters of Miami-Dade County. Each day, this meaningful exhibit will remind the Elections team who we are here to serve and demonstrate our dedication to our voters.
See what inspired Mr. Cortada to design this piece and what it means for voters, the community, the Supervisor of Elections, and Elections staff.
