Join the Step Up, Revive and Thrive Face-Off Challenge 2024

WellnessWorks is looking for 32 teams of 25 participants to join our annual steps challenge tournament Step Up, Revive and Thrive Face-Off Challenge 2024.

Department teams will take on other department teams to compete for endurance and stride efforts to determine the Step Up, Revive and Thrive Face-Off 2024 Challenge Champions. Open registration is from Oct. 2 through Nov. 17. Challenge runs from Jan. 22 through Nov. 8, 2024.

Tournament Rounds:

  • Round 1 (10 weeks) – All teams compete
  • Round 2 (8 weeks) – The top 50 percent of teams to win will advance, and the bottom 50 percent of teams will be eliminated
  • Round 3 (8 weeks) – The top 50 percent of teams to win round 2 will advance, and the bottom 50 percent of teams will be eliminated
  • Round 4 (8 weeks) – The top 50 percent of teams to win round 3 will advance, and the bottom 50 percent of teams will be eliminated
  • Final Round 5 (8 weeks) – Final teams will go head-to-head to become the Step Up, Revive and Thrive Face-Off 2024 Challenge Champions

Endurance Tournament:

Eliminated participants in tournament Rounds 2 and 3 will move into an Individual Redemption Tournament. The Individual Redemption Tournament will continue until Round 4 of the challenge starts. So there will be Redemption 2 and 3 Individual Champions and a Team Face-Off Champion.

Registration:

Each department team must have a minimum of 18 participants and must designate a team captain who will be responsible for completing and submitting the team’s registration form to [email protected] by Nov. 17, as well as coordinating swag bags and incentive prize pick-ups for their team. Each department can enroll up to two department teams to compete in the tournament.

Each participant must appear on the registration form submitted by the team captain, be registered on Healthyroads, have a device linked to their Healthyroads account to track steps by Jan. 1, 2024 and must be eligible for benefits prior to Nov. 30.

Participants will receive a WellnessWorks shirt, surprise incentives and 25 Wellness points each quarter towards the 75 points required for eligible entry to $250 quarterly raffles.

Prizes:

Winning department team members will receive WellnessWorks mega swag bag, bragging rights and a championship WellnessWorks belt to keep for one year until the next champion is selected.

This is not a Quarterly Steps Challenge where employees register individually on HealthyRoads. The completed registration form is required. Team members cannot be changed, added or replaced once department teams are set up. Participants who display significant anomalies in performance will automatically be disqualified from the competition. Disqualification may impact the department team’s performance and/or elimination from the challenge
