This year Valentine’s Day falls on a weekday, Tuesday, Feb. 14 but you can start sharing the love on the weekend prior.
Consider a romantic picnic at Vizcaya or a weekend Biscayne Bay cruise departing from the Deering Estate. Or enjoy a romantic concert outdoors with a picnic at Deering Estate. With many lovely, and safe, events to choose from, it may be hard to just pick one!
- Valentine’s Day Events at Deering Estate – Feb. 12-14
Celebrate love with a Valentine’s Champagne Bay Cruise. Tickets are available for the morning or evening cruise on Sunday, Feb. 12. - The “Moonlight & Music” Valentine’s Day Concert at the Deering Estate offers couples and friends the opportunity to celebrate their love at an outdoor concert under the stars on Tuesday evening, Feb. 14. Ticketholder entry times are between 5:15 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The concert starts at 8 p.m.
- Vizcaya
- Visit the Vizcaya Village Farmer’s Market and taste the artistry of local vendors as you and your loved one explore Vizcaya’s historic farm and village Sunday, Feb.12
- Take a guided tour of Vizcaya Village built in 1914 alongside the rest of the estate of the grounds or find out about several events taking place.
- Find the Love of Your Life – Feb. 1-14
Find a furry valentine during the Animal Services pet adoption celebration, adoption fees will be waived for pets four months and older through Tuesday Feb. 14. (Adopters are still responsible for the $30 tag for dogs)
