MIAMI — The MIAMI Association of Realtors (MIAMI) installed 2023 Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound MIAMI (JTHS-MIAMI) President Martha Gillespie-Beeman, ABR, C2EX, CIPS, CNE, Green, GRI, MRP at its Inaugural & Awards Celebration on Feb. 3 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.
“It’s truly humbling to be selected by my peers to lead the 2023 Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound MIAMI Board of Governors,” Gillespie-Beeman said. “Our leadership is well positioned to continue building a strong presence within the Palm Beach County and Martin County business community, as well as developing key relationships with representatives from our local government. Community initiatives, government affairs, and broker, member and YPN engagement are some of our top priorities in 2023.”
The JTHS-MIAMI Board of Governors are the think tank, brain trust and expert resource for Realtors in Palm Beach and Martin counties. The Governors identify and monitor threats, opportunities and solutions based on the issues and challenges facing JTHS-MIAMI members on a day-to-day basis.
New JTHS-MIAMI President Brings State and National Realtor Committee Experience
A resident of South Florida since 1970, Gillespie-Beeman earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management. A former human resources manager, she made a career change to real estate and joined The Sheehan Agency in June 2001, where she is the vice president of residential sales.
During her real estate career, Gillespie-Beeman has earned several designations and certifications: ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative); C2EX (Commitment to Excellence); CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist); CNE (Certified Negotiating Expert); Green; GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) and MRP (Military Relocation Professional).
She is also on the 2023 National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors; 2023 Florida REALTORS® Board of Directors; Chairperson of the Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound (JTHS) Professional Development Team (2015-Present) and a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®. She has served on numerous committees on the state and national levels since 2017.
With her intimate knowledge of the area and years of community involvement in Palm Beach and Martin counties, Gillespie-Beeman is a valuable member of the Sheehan team. She is married and has a son.
