Metro Express has arrived!

Miami-Dade County’s first all-electric Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system is transforming the way we move.

With 14 modern stations stretching from the SW 344th St. Park-and-Ride to the Dadeland South Metrorail Station, Metro Express connects riders to key destinations including job centers, schools, parks, shopping areas, and other transit services.

Metro Express offers a roomier, more efficient and reliable ride on all-electric 60-foot buses equipped with charging ports, bike racks, and easy boarding through all doors.

The new air-conditioned BRT stations feature level boarding, real-time arrival displays, free Wi-Fi, bike storage and more.

Developed as part of the SMART Program, Metro Express reflects Miami-Dade County’s long-term commitment to modern, sustainable infrastructure.
