Miami Individual Artists (MIA) Program – Deadline March 17th

Dear Colleagues,

Our community’s exceptional artists continue to bring imagination, innovation, and hope to every corner of Miami-Dade County. Our diverse individual artists continue to be the driving force for Miami’s creative voice, through dance, film, folk, literary arts, music, theater, visual arts and the multidisciplinary arts.

We are proud to announce that the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs has launched the second year of the Miami Individual Artists (MIA) Program, with the strong support of Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and the Board of County Commissioners.

The FY 2022-2023 Miami Individual Artists (MIA) Program Guidelines and Application form are now available. The MIA Program awards grants of up to $10,000 to Miami-Dade County-based individual artists of all disciplines, and all backgrounds, on a competitive basis to support their artistic development and practice. Professional artists of the highest caliber with a recognized body of original artwork, and who are deeply rooted in Miami’s diverse cultural life are strongly encouraged to apply.
