Midyear State of the System Snapshot

The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is making great progress to advance many critical transit and public works programs that will greatly benefit the community and quality of life for many years to come.

Highlighting some of the progress made, DTPW has released its first-ever Midyear State of the System Snapshot. The report details gains and improvements in transit ridership, on-time-performance, and other critical areas between Jan. and June 2023.

Performance metrics for Metrobus, Metrorail, Metromover, paratransit services, and Vision Zero are encouraging. These metrics help to establish accountability and clarify the progress being made as a department and community.
