The newest issue of the print version of the free and comprehensive Greater Miami & The Beaches Calendar of Events will cover events taking place from October through December 2014. To be included, please email your latest event schedule by Deadline: Monday, August 11, 2014 to Calendar@MiamiandBeaches.com.

 

Submissions must include the following:

Name of Event, Date, Time, Address, URL, Phone, Brief 50-word description

Photos are optional and must be a minimum of 605 x 360 pixels and file size may not exceed 2 MB each

MBVCA’S 2014/2015 TOURISM ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM

 

The Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority’s (MBVCA) 2014/2015 Tourism Advancement Program guidelines and applications forms are now available at www.miamibeachvca.com. First period grants are for events taking place between October 1, 2014 and January 31, 2015. 

  

Major One Time Special Event and Special Events Recurring

Deadline date – Tuesday, September 2, 2014

 

Must meet with the MBVCA Administrator prior to Monday, August 25, 2014.

 

 

 

ARTIST DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

DEMYSTIFYING THE ART OF PROPOSAL WRITING

LOCUST PROJECTS AND ARTCENTER/SOUTH FLORIDA

August 16, 2014 – 10:00 AM to 2 PM

 

Workshop will provide a hands-on approach to the proposal writing process. Using a combination of writing exercises, discussions and a mock panel, participants will gain experience with grant writing and the grant making process. Hosted by ArtCenter’s Artistic Director Susan Caraballo.

Cost: $50 General/ $45 Locust Projects/ ArtCenter members
