WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (October 26, 2022) – Mayor Keith A. James and other City leaders will host a press conference on Friday, November 4 at 10 a.m. to announce opening dates for Holiday in Paradise presented by FPL (HIP), including the return of Sandi Tree and her special element for this year’s campaign. HIP opens on Thursday, December 1, from 6 -9 p.m. with the Clematis by Night Holiday Tree Lighting.
“We are so excited to once again welcome Holiday in Paradise back to our Downtown Waterfront, with Sandi as the main star as always,” said Mayor Keith A. James. “We look forward to sharing this year’s exciting news about our award-winning holiday celebration. I encourage everyone to save the date for our tree lighting, we hope to see you there!”
“Sandi’s 11th annual return will be the brightest yet,” said Mary Pinak, community events manager for the City of West Palm Beach. “The new element will be visually dynamic and fun for the whole family. We hope everyone makes plans to enjoy Sandi Tree as part of their holiday celebrations, as well as other events like Sandi and Santa’s Annual Pancake Breakfast.”
Sandi’s synchronized music and light shows will run nightly on the quarter hour from 6 – 10 p.m. through December (except on days with scheduled special events). On Saturday, December 31, Sandi’s shows will be extended through midnight.
In addition to nightly shows, HIP includes several opportunities for free or low-cost family-friendly holiday-themed fun, including:
