Register early for emergency evacuation assistance

With hurricane season approaching, it’s important to be prepared before disaster strikes. Miami-Dade County residents who need specialized transportation assistance or whose medical needs prevent them from evacuating on their own can register for the Emergency & Evacuation Assistance Program (EEAP) so they can get the help they need in the event of an emergency.

Hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30, but it’s never too early to make the necessary preparations for yourself and members of your family.

If you or a loved one that resides in Miami-Dade County have disabilities or need skilled nursing care, assistance with daily living or have life-saving medical equipment dependent on electricity, you are eligible to pre-register for assistance with the Emergency & Evacuation Assistance Program (EEAP).

Registering prior to an emergency will ensure help will be available to you when needed during an emergency or hazardous event.

Pre-register for the Emergency & Evacuation Assistance Program (EEAP) today
