The Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources has launched a new Active Zoning Hearings Notification System, which allows the public to subscribe to receive electronic updates on the status of zoning applications. Upon signing up, subscribers will receive notifications by email, text or phone call as the applications they are interested in move through the zoning process.
With this new system, interested residents can choose to follow active zoning applications so they may be alerted when there will be hearings related to the application.
This system is in addition to advertisement and notification required by the County Code of Ordinances. Its intent is to provide a greater opportunity for the public to track and follow active zoning applications.
