Special Event Permitting on Clematis Street

West Palm Beach, FL — The City of West Palm Beach has approved ‘Pride on the Block,’ scheduled for Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3, 2023, in the 500 Block of Clematis Street.  Other than the aforementioned permit, no additional Special Event Permits on public property on Clematis Street will be granted by the City from now until September 30, 2023.  From October 1 through December 31, 2023, the City will only consider Special Event Permit Applications for previously permitted, one-day events on Clematis Street.

This suspension of approving additional Special Event Permits on public property on Clematis Street is to allow the City the required time to evaluate fully the impacts to public safety and traffic arising from closing any portion of Clematis Street.
