On April 22, 2021, the City of Miami filed a motion for rehearing the case that the Appellate Division of the Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit ruled in favor of Miami-Dade County. The Court had overturned the City of Miami Mayor’s veto of the County’s final historic preservation Certificate of Appropriateness for the Coconut Grove Playhouse project.
