The Miami Foundation announces COVID-19 Relief funding available for Nonprofits

Dear Colleagues,

The Miami Foundation, in partnership with the Miami-Dade County Department of Public Housing and Community Development, is offering $10 million in grants to local, small nonprofits impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, through the Miami-Dade Nonprofit Support Grants Program, with federal CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funds.

Nonprofit arts groups and cultural organizations are eligible to apply; however, please note that funding priority will be given to organizations that have not received other forms of government funding related to COVID-19 relief, including but not limited to Payback Protection Program (PPP) Loans and Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs Miami-Dade Arts Support (MAS) grants.

DEADLINE: Applications to the Miami Foundation are being accepted now through Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

You may download the revised Guidelines and Frequently Asked Questions for the Miami-Dade Nonprofit Support Grants Program here.

Grant funds are available to Miami-Dade based 501(c)(3) nonprofits, including arts groups and cultural organizations, with 25 or fewer employees and must cover employee payroll, business interruption costs, reopening and other expenses related to the pandemic. Restrictions apply: please review the guidelines and frequently asked questions carefully.

The Miami Foundation is offering two informational webinars:
Friday, September 11th at 11 AM
Tuesday, September 15th at 11 AM

Register here for the webinars.

Stay healthy and safe!
