WASD releases 2024 Water Quality Report

The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASD) released its 2024 Water Quality Report, also known as the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). This annual report serves as a vital resource for residents, offering a snapshot of Miami-Dade’s drinking water quality based on rigorous testing conducted throughout the previous year.

WASD’s dedicated team of water professionals works tirelessly around the clock, ensuring high-quality drinking water for our community. With more than 150,000 samples and tests conducted annually throughout the treatment process and distribution system, we are committed to delivering safe and reliable drinking water throughout Miami-Dade County.

As mandated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), every water utility across the nation is required to provide an annual CCR, which must reach all billed customers by July 1st. We invite you to explore our latest CCR here to learn more about the water you and your family use daily.

WASD’s drinking water meets all current local, state, and federal regulatory standards, reflecting the Department’s unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of our customers.

It is the priority of the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department to provide safe, reliable service to its customers.
