Condominium associations, cooperative associations and homeowners’ associations (HOA’s) are required to register annually with the Regulatory and Economic Resources’ (RER) Consumer and Neighborhood Protection Division to comply with the Ordinance for the Registration of Community Associations; the 2025 deadline is quickly approaching.
The ordinance applies to associations located within both, incorporated and unincorporated Miami-Dade County. The online registry assures that RER can provide an easily accessible and centralized registry of information and copies of certain documents such associations are required to maintain under Florida Statutes.
Associations that haven’t registered must do so, and those already registered must renew their registration under this ordinance by the Feb. 1, 2025 deadline.
