June 18 – 24 marks National Mosquito Control Awareness Week and Miami-Dade’s Mosquito Control Division is observing the week by hosting several online events on social media.
Organized by the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) and promoted by abatement districts throughout the United States, National Mosquito Control Awareness Week is a chance to shed light on the work that helps to control Earth’s deadliest animal.
