- Hang up the “Gone Fishing” sign and head out to Deering Estate’s catch-and-release Father’s Day Fishing Cruise
- Learn or improve sports shooting skills at Miami-Dade Parks’ Trail Glades Range, where the staff strives to provide patrons a safe and protected environment to improve technical skills in all shooting sports. All first-time shooters are required to complete the Gun Safety and Facility Orientation Site course
- If camera shots are more your pop’s style, register together for The Kitchin: A Short Film Workshop at Vizcaya Village. The free workshops take place every Saturday and Sunday from June 3 through June 25. Each workshop will focus on a singular aspect of stop-motion film production, from storyboarding to post-production and everything in between
- Visit Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Zoo Miami or Deering Estate to spend the day outdoors at one of the numerous beautiful spaces around our County
